Where do I start? I’m not sure if my child needs occupational therapy.
Let’s start by connecting either through email, text, phone call, or Zoom meeting. Initial consultations are free to discuss concerns for your child.
Following the consultation, we will discuss whether your child needs an evaluation to establish goals or if we can start with occupational therapy sessions based on preferences and needs.
Where do sessions occur and what does a session look like?
Our sessions can take place wherever you want them to! I can meet you in your home, we can meet at a park, or we can take it online via telehealth if you’re out of town.
Sessions will look a little different based on your child’s need, but I will bring any necessary materials to conduct sessions. Families will be informed if any materials need to be provided by the parent or caregiver.
Sessions are typically 60-minutes long and includes parent feedback.
Do you accept insurance?
No, at this time, Backyard OT is not in contract with any insurance providers. The benefits of private pay includes true personalization of services based on needs and preferences of the client and family, not by what is deemed “medically necessary.”
A superbill can be provided upon request for insurance reimbursement.
What is your pricing and accepted forms of payment?
Please contact us through text, email, or phone for current rates. Forms of accepted payment are cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, or credit card (with 3% processing fee).
